Winter Summit 2026

The Annual GAN Annual Angel Investing Winter Summit took place January 28–30, 2026, gathering angel investors, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and ecosystem partners focused on angel investing in life sciences and the trends that shaped angel investing in 2026.

Hosted at the Sandbox Centre in Barrie, Ontario, the GAN Angel Investing Winter Summit brought together experienced and emerging angels for two days of a keynote presentation, expert panels, interactive workshops, and peer-to-peer discussions designed to address the realities of investing in a rapidly changed market.

The GAN Angel Investing Winter Summit opened on January 28 with a curated startup pitch competition, featuring companies selected by the GAN Selection Committee. Those companies presented to Summit attendees, with the winning company receiving a $10,000 cash prize, in partnership with McQuarrie Highland.

On Day Two, the Winter Summit featured a Life Sciences Funds presentation and panel discussion, hands-on workshops focused on defending and evolving the angel investing model, using AI to improve investment processes, and developing effective exit strategies, as well as structured opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing.

On the third final day, we enjoyed 1:1 meetings on the chairlifts at Mt. St. Louis Moonstone in partnership with reIGNITE Conference.
