Application Process
GXF will be investing in 5 companies during each of 2019 and 2020. The deadline for 2022 applications will be announced in January 2022.
Process and Timetable
From the initial application to GAN, to successfully closing a financing, can take 1 to 3 months. We encourage you to give your company latitude, and start the process well before you will need the money.
Application and Outline
Your application should initially be sent using the form HERE. Once you submit your information you will be asked to upload your documents to our dropbox. Our initial review will help us decide if your company should be invited for an initial screening call. The main application is in the form of a powerpoint presentation of no more than 15 pages. The Outline of Application Presentation is downloadable. The 15 Point Checklist provides more detail as to what GXF is looking for. The Outline of the Application should be adhered to. There will be some points that may require an additional page and that’s okay. Some topics will not require a full page. That’s okay too. But if you do not follow the Outline, your application may be rejected.
Screening Call
After reviewing your presentation we will contact you and arrange a follow-up call to review the presentations and ask some follow-up questions.
Presentation to Selection Committee
Following the screening call, you may be invited to present to Selection Committee. You will have 20 minutes to make your presentation, and an additional 10-15 minutes for questions. You will be advised within 7 days, as to whether there was sufficient interest to warrant further discussion and due diligence.
Due Diligence
During due diligence, GXF will verify the information contained in your presentation. You will be required to actively facilitate this process, and provide access to founders, information and outside parties to expedite a final investment decision.
Term Sheet Negotitation
Concurrent with the due diligence process, GXF will present and discuss a Term Sheet that defines the structure of the GXF investment. See Typical Deal Terms. Once we are are in agreement as to the terms, we will complete the due diligence and proceed to closing.
