For those of you who were not able to join our first ever GAN Winter Summit – we have good news! We have already announced our 2020 dates, mark your calendars for January 16th & 17th, 2020. The location will be announced at a later date.
The GAN Winter Summit was a huge success with over 30 guests in attendance. We began the summit with our Monthly Investor Meeting, we heard from two companies; Smooth Commerce and OnSched. Following their presentations we had a wonderful evening with live entertainment and networking. Our networking event had representatives from
AIO, NACO, OCE, GTAN, YAI, and MLA!
To start day two, we indulged in a hot breakfast buffet and heard from our guest speaker Frank Auddino. Frank is an active member with Georgian Angel Network, and co-chairs the membership and marketing committee with Angel Investors Ontario (AIO) and the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO.) It was a fun conversation to witness and brought great insight to the world of Angel investing for those in the room who were potential future members of GAN. After breakfast, it was time to hit the beautiful Blue Mountain with our skis and snowboards. Some of our group was able to take in the Scenic Caves on snowshoes!
