3-day investing event highlights pitches, deal flow, expert speakers
BARRIE, ON (January 17, 2022)–Angel investors will convene virtually this week with business founders and ecosystem experts for learning, networking and dealmaking. The Angel Investing Winter Summit runs online from Wednesday, January 19 through Friday, January 21, 2022, and is presented by the Georgian Angel Network (GAN), Niagara Angel Network and Angel Investors of Ontario.
In its fourth year, the Angel Investing Winter Summit brings together experienced and new investors, start-up and scaling entrepreneurs, investing and business ecosystem experts to explore the powerful economic development opportunities that angel investment creates.
“Angel investment is transformational for entrepreneurs looking to commercialize their innovations,” says Michael Badham, Managing Director, Georgian Angel Network. “Our Angel Investing Winter Summit provides an opportunity to learn about angel investing from experts. We’ll explore business trends and innovative ideas that will shape our collective futures.”
The Angel Investing Winter Summit features angel investing subject matter experts from across the country, including Vancouver-based Peiter Dorsman, President and CEO, Redpeaks Management Inc.. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with leaders in the angel investing ecosystem, watch business founders pitch their ideas to investors.
